Step 1: Get in touch

Your care journey begins with a simple enquiry by email, phone or letter. One of our friendly care managers will reach out for an informal, no-pressure chat to understand your needs and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to get to know you personally so we can shape care around what matters most to you. All information you share is treated in the strictest confidence. Once we have a clear picture of your requirements, we’ll provide you with an outline of care options, schedules and costs.

Step 2: Care needs assessment

The next stage is a home visit with one of our care managers. This is our chance to sit down with you in the comfort of your own home, get to know you better and understand exactly what support will make the biggest difference. During this visit, we will complete a few simple assessments such as Moving and Handling, Environmental and Medication to ensure everything is safe and suitable for your needs. Afterwards, we will create a personalised care plan and provide you with a fully costed package. There is absolutely no obligation at this stage and you are welcome to take as much time as you need to review everything before making a decision.

Step 3: Your personalised care plan

Once you are happy to go ahead, we will finalise your care plan together with you and your family, making sure every detail reflects your wishes and needs. If additional healthcare professionals are required, we will identify the right people and arrange introductions so you feel completely comfortable. Should any specialist training be needed to support your care, we will also organise this at no extra stress to you. Our priority is to ensure your plan is truly tailored to you, giving you complete peace of mind.

Step 4: Carer Selection

Choosing the right carer is one of the most important parts of your journey with Loving Angels Care. Every carer goes through a thorough five-stage interview process designed to test their skills, knowledge and how they respond in real-life care scenarios. We carefully check all references and compliance documents, and carry out a full criminal record check to ensure complete safety and professionalism.

But for us, it is about more than qualifications alone. We ask ourselves one simple question: would we be happy for this person to look after a member of our own family? If the answer is yes, then we know they are the right fit for Loving Angels Care. Once your carer is matched with you, we continue to review their performance regularly to make sure you always receive the highest standard of support.

Step 5: Getting to Know Each Other

We want you and your care professional to feel completely comfortable and confident together. During the first few weeks, the focus is on building a strong relationship, learning about daily routines, personal preferences, and the little things that make a big difference. This is a time for trust to grow and for your carer to truly understand how best to support you.

Family involvement is an important part of this process, helping everyone feel reassured and included. We will also stay in touch throughout to make sure the transition is smooth and that you feel fully supported as your care journey begins.

Step 6: Service Reviews and Feedback

Your care journey does not end once support begins. We believe in regularly reviewing your care to make sure it continues to meet your needs as they evolve. Review meetings will be arranged at agreed intervals, giving you and your family the opportunity to share feedback, highlight what is working well, and discuss any changes you would like to see.

You will also have a dedicated community assessor as your main point of contact. This is the same person who helped design your care plan, so they understand your needs from the very beginning. They will work closely with you to make any adjustments if your circumstances change. And if you ever have a concern or simply want to talk something through, you do not need to wait until the next review, we are always just a phone call away.
